Spotlighting Ragtime Youth Concert

Announcing the 5th Annual - 2025 - West Coast Ragtime Society

2025 Spotlighting Youth

Entry forms due: June 30, 2025
Submissions due: July 31, 2025 - Program airing in the Fall (TBD)

Open to all ragtime playing youth, ages 8-21. To enter, fill out the entry form below.

After we have received your entry form, you will get info on how to record your video. Look at past years of Spotlighting Ragtime Youth concerts up on YouTube for ideas. You will be submitting 1 video of a RAGTIME piece and another short video of you introducing your piece.

ALL entry forms are due June 30th
All Finished video entries are due by July 31st. Get the entry form in ASAP.

Youth Video Submission Guidelines

We will accept piano duos (two pianos or two on one bench) - No other instruments. Music selections should be characteristic ragtime pieces. All selections will be approved at the discretion of the Music Committee.

I'm very excited about this program which will be seen around the world on FaceBook and YouTube airings. The previous virtual concerts concerts have been huge hits. You may view them on YouTube. Spotlighting Ragtime Youth.

The notes below will help the emcees to introduce you. Admission is free and there are no prizes or judging. This is a chance for you to be seen and heard around the world. The video dropbox link will be sent after we receive a completed admission form.
